Olivia Lester
Clinical Operations Partner, Roche Products (NZ) Olivia is a Clinical Operations Partner at Roche Pharmaceuticals NZ. She is responsible for all clinical trial operations, including start-up, ongoing management and closure of clinical trials in New Zealand and across Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Roche, Olivia started her clinical research career as a Study Coordinator at Auckland Clinical Studies (now NZCR). Throughout her 9 years’ working in clinical trials, Olivia has gained invaluable experience and knowledge across all phases of clinical development and a wide range of therapeutic areas. |
Olivia believes in partnering together to enhance clinical research in NZ and her strong clinical research background allows her to bring experience and perspectives from both site and pharmaceutical company.
Olivia completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Otago graduating with a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours), majoring in Pharmacology and Toxicology. She is also member of the NZACRes Conference Committee and will be sharing her knowledge and skillset to facilitate the study start up workshop.

Study Start Up Activities / HDEC Submissions
This workshop will involve navigating through the study start up process with an emphasis on HDEC related activities, including PISCF and DTMP construction. The session will be interactive and is designed to not only provide foundational skills, but also build on existing knowledge and improve overall understanding.
