Clinical Research Services Manager, Liggins Institute Katie Rice Borroz is an accomplished clinical research professional with a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Oregon and a Master's degree in Public Health from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Katie has worked as a clinical research coordinator and later a manager for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Children’s National Hospital in the United States. Currently, she spearheads strategic research operations for the Human Health Research Services platform at the University of Auckland. Katie's expertise lies in research infrastructure and operations, where she passionately contributes to advancing the field. She is also dedicated to fostering female leadership in the health sector and serves as a member and country chapter lead for Women in Global Health in Aotearoa New Zealand.
